Scammers are making a huge effort to target Etsy users at the moment, and they’ve been adapting how they message sellers.
Recently we’ve seen scammers pretend to be buyers, saying they’ve purchased an item from your shop buuuut they want to double check something first, just to be reassured, before they send any money (hint: if they’ve purchased, they’ve already paid — so if you have no order in your orders and delivery section, it’s a scam).
They’ve also acted as Etsy Support staff, using the Etsy logo as their profile photo (after Etsy announced their official messages would have their logo as a small addition next to the profile photo).
